Siasia gives conditions for Akpan, Salami’s return to Eagles 

Super Eagles’ Chief Coach, Samson Siasia, has said that he would invite Premier League stars, Gbolahan Salami and Bassey Akpan, into the Home-based Eagles if they proved themselves in their clubs. Siasia, who dropped the hint in a casual chat with the media in Abuja on Wednesday, however, admitted that he was happy the players had been let off the hook, challenging them to prove their worth in their clubs before expecting his invitation. “It is that they have been unbanned. It will help their career but they should not expect any invitation now. They have to first prove that they are ready to play with me by starting in their clubs first. It is when I see their input that I will consider their invitation,” he said.
