Make Nigerians Proud In Brazil- Tafida Charges Eagles

Nigeria's ambassador to the United Kingdom, Dalhatu Sarki Tafida has charged the Super Eagles players and officials to remain determined as they intense preparations for their fifth outing in the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.Stephen Keshis tutored side will face the Scotlands Tartan Terriers in Wednesdays international friendly at the Craven Cottage before heading to the United States of America where they will be involved in two other warm up games before departing for Brazil for the commencement of the tournament.In his address at a reception organised for the team, the country's Ambassador praised the good works of the African champions and implored the team to remain focused while believing in the arrays of stars in the Eagles fold to do well in the South American country.He is also certain that a good outing by the squad will not go unnoticed by the countrys president Goodluck Jonathan.I know resident Jonathan will reward you excellently and I will also be in Abuja, when a huge reception is organised for the team after the World Cup and I am very sure the president will not fail to say thank you, just play your part and leave the rest to him, said Tafida.He also pointed out that the importance of friendlies which according to him will help keep the team in shape both physically, mentally and socially.In his closing remarks, he thanked the officials of the Nigeria Football Federation for their faith in a Nigerian to lead the team to the biggest football competition on the planet."Other Africans have white coaches and they are envious of Nigeria and a few others I am sure you will daze the world in Brazil," he concluded.Coach Keshi is expected to announce his final squad onJune 2, 2014.
