GTBank upgrades internet banking platform

Guaranty TrustBank (GTBank),as part of its efforts at making banking more convenient and value adding, has announced the upgrade of its internet banking platform to enable instant payments to other banks.This new service, the bank stated, would now enable all GTBank account holders transfer funds from their GTBank accounts to beneficiary accounts in other banks within the country in seconds.Speaking on the bank's latest innovation, the Group Head and General Manager, Communications & External Affairs, GTBank, Mrs. Lola Odedina, noted that the innovation 'is an online real-time platform that allows the bank's customers to confirm the beneficiary's account details before consummating their transfers, which can be done from anywhere in the world.'She advised every customers to take advantage of this innovative service as it is safe, secure and convenient, adding that a security device for online transfers/payments is required to complete all instant payment transfers to other banks in the country.
