Olubadan woos investors

THE Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade 1, has wooed investor to the ancient city, saying that it remains the best for companies wishing to tap into the market in the South West region because of its large population.The traditional ruler, while speaking at the official launch of Jago Milk in Ibadan stated said with a population of over five million people, any company that has a base in the city should be ready to smile to the bank giving the fact that such a company would be patronised by the people.Represented by Chief Olufemi Olaifa, Oba Odulana added that the friendly disposition of the people was also an asset that could not be toyed with, stating that the city has an history of contributing to the growth of many industries in the country.The traditional ruler lauded Sosaco Nigeria Limited for coming to Ibadan to launch its products, saying that with the step the company has followed the footstep of others that have become oaks throughout the country.'One cannot but commend Sosaco Nigeria Limited for having the initiative of launching their products in Ibadan. What I know is that they would have no regret for doing this. With the population of the city, they are assured of ready market for their products,' he said.The Managing Director of Sosaco, Mr Satish Nair, said the company decided to launch the product because of its desire to help in curtailing the iron deficiency in the little children, as well as their mental growth.
