How Abuja lepers celebrated Eid-el-Fitr

It is an old practice among the Muslim Ummah to visit each other during the Sallah period. During such visits, gifts are handed out by the relatively affluent members to those who are not so blessed. During the period, children move from homes to homes where they are greeted with rich meals and gifts and that mark the beginning of good relationship in a community. It is in conformity to this age-long tradition that lepers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), who would rather preferred to be referred to as Persons Affected with Leprosy (PALS) set out during the recent eid-el- Fitr celebration to visit Muslim families in the area.
