Indomie partners LEARN on summer school

AS part of its continued partnership with Lagos State Government, especially in the area of education, Dufil Prima Foods Plc, makers Indomie Instant Noodles recently collaborated with the Lagos Empowerment and Resource Network (LEARN), an initiative of the First Lady of Lagos State, Dame Emmanuella Abimbola Fashola.With this partnership, Dufil Prima Foods Plc provided free lunch to students who attended the recently concluded summer school programme across six districts, from August 1, to September 10.According to the company's Public Relations Manager, Mr. Temitope Ashiwaju, the partnership with LEARN is in line with the focus of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility, which places high priority on educational development ofNigerian children.'Indomie is well known as one of the foremost brands with immense contributions to the development of education at all levels from primary, secondary to tertiary institution. We are committed to educational development of Nigerian children, who are the future of the nation,' he remarked.He commended the Lagos State First Lady for the LEARN initiative, which, he said, meaningfully engaged the children during the holiday by channeling their energy towards productive endeavours.Also commenting on the partnership, the Project Manager Of LEARN, Mrs. Bisi Awoyomi commended Dufil Prima Foods for offering support, which she described as 'very strategic and helpful.''This Indomie partnership with LEARN has added a new dimension to the summer school. The children were very excited about the Lunch that Indomie served them and this really encouraged them to pay more attention in class, since they were certain of lunch after class,' she said.
