Bayern eyes Crown starlet

WEEKS after English Premiership giant, Arsenal, was reported to have declared interest in him, Crwon FC of Ogbomoso player, Morenikeji Taofeek Akanbi is in the news again as another top club in Europe has set its sight on him.German Bundesliga giant, Bayern Munich, become the latest European side reportedly monitoring the youngster, who has scored seven goals in the current Nigeria Premier League (NPL) season.According to reports, a representative of Bayern Munich revealed that Akanbi's name has been mentioned to officials of the Bundesliga club while the German club has requested for videos of matches involving the former Nigerian Under17 striker."I am waiting for the videos of his club games which I will hand over to Bayern Munich. A scout told Bayern officials about him and they will like to see his games first," a source informed SuperSport.com on Monday.Apart from interests from Arsenal and Bayern Munich, there are a host of unnamed clubs in Turkey, Russia and Denmark keen to sign on the striker.
