Dangote to open multi-million Naira plant in Kaduna soon

THE President of Dangote Group of Companies, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, said that the management has decided to build a multi-million Naira plant in Kaduna, as part of the expansion plans of the Group, which would provide employment for Nigerians.He said this in Kaduna in an interactive session with journalists, adding that the Dangote Foundation has partnered with Bank of Industry to provide N20 billion for empowerment of people by providing them with soft loan with zero interest.He explained that 'Kaduna would be having power plant by the end of this year or early next year, after that we would bring one of our industries here.''Dangote Foundation is also partnering with Bank of Industry to empower people by helping them find something to do. We would give N10 billion, the bank would give their counterpart funding of N10 billion to provide a loan at zero interest to micro schemes to start business, but they would pay administrative charges to help run the scheme. People can borrow as a group to the tune of N500,000'.Speaking further on management plans, Dangote, who said his Group of companies have already made advance payment on the loan scheme of N2.5 billion, however urged Kaduna State Government to speak with Bank of Industry and make its people aware of the opportunities.
