Ajoda residents decry state of road

Residents of Ajoda Town, Oba road, in Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun State, have called the attention of the incumbent administration in the state to the deplorable condition of all the roads in the area.Speaking with Community News recently, the Baale of the community, Alhaji Sheik Yusuf Olurunfemi-Kunfayakun condemned the present condition of all the roads across the community, saying they have become impassable for motorists.The community leader lamented that, residents find it difficult during the rainy season to drive their vehicles from the main Ring-Road to their various homes as many of them preferred to park their cars somewhere in the town to protect their cars from sinking.The Baale said further that, the present condition of the roads has separated the community from the town as the area was now being deserted.Kunfayakun further urged the local government as well as the state government to come to the aid of the residents of the community in terms of distribution of social amenities, adding that, this would restore their hope.The residents also called the attention of the government to the security of life and property in the community, saying, the community needs assistance in their efforts to have a Police Post.
