Forum tasks political office holders on higher education

The Iseyin Progressive Forum, Oyo State, has charged the political office holders in the area to ensure that a higher institution of learning was sited in the state.The forum's coordinator, Mr Gbemileke Adedoja, while speaking after the inauguration of the executive officers that would run the affairs of the forum for the next two years, urged them to fat-track the establishment of higher school in the area.He reiterated the need for higher institution of learning in Iseyin, saying the town has all the prerequisites to host the project.He added that enough piece of land had been reserved, not to talk of manpower to drive the institution to enviable status.While appreciating the efforts of political office holders from Iseyin for working in tandem with the noble vision of Governor Abiola Ajimobi's administration, Adedoja called on them to fast-track these efforts in other to guide against disenchantment that may come from the teeming electorate.The newly elected officers were Mr Gbemileke Adedoja Julius (Coordinator), Balogun Kolawole Mutair( Assistant Coordinator, Isa Olona ( Director of Administration.), Musediq Rafiu ( Assistant Director of Admin.), Qamar Salam Obe, (Director of Finance),: Alhazan Abiodun Rilwan (Director. Of Information) and Saheed Rafiu Odere (Organising Secretary).
