Mimiko swears in 16 commissioners today

Sixteen new commissioners, including a former media aide of the immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, Kayode Akinmade, former chairman of the Ondo State Lam Commission, Sola Ebiseni, would be sworn in today by the state governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko.The swearing-in of the 16 commissioners, which comes up at the state Cultural Centre, Adegbemile, will bring the number of commissioners in the state to 20.Apart from Akinmade and Ebiseni, others to be inaugurated by the governor are Remi Olatubora, Yekini Olanipekun, Nicholas Tofowomo, Igbekele Daodu, Margaret Akinsuroju.Others are Aina Adaramola, Deji Falae, who is a son of former Minister of Finance, Chief Olu Falae, Yinka Alabi, Demola Olorunfemi, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo, Tayo Oluwatuyi, Dr Dayo Adeyanju, Tayo Akinjomu and Taye Akinyede.Their inauguration follows their clearance by the state House of Assembly, having been screened by the lawmakers.Four of the new commissioners served in that capacity before they were re-appointed by the governor.While Ebiseni was a commissioner under the Adebayo Adefarati-led administration, Olanipekun, Adaramola and Olatubora were members of the last cabinet dissolved in July by the governor.
