Decades after assassination, Sir Ahmadu Bello lives via exhibit

Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto, will forever be alive in the minds of many Nigerians. Today, the country celebrates its fifty-first independence anniversary, one which without the likes of the late Sir Ahmadu Bello, would have not been achieved. Sir Ahmadu Bello was the leading Northern spokesman during Nigeria's drive to gain independence from the British. A struggle of passion and sacrifice can never be said to be complete in the northern part of Nigeria without the name of Ahmadu Bello.
