Fayemi off to Brazil, Canada and USA

The Ekiti State governor, Dr KayodeFayemi, on Sunday, began a 10-day business trip to Brazil, United States of America (USA) and Canada.According to a statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mr Funminiyi Afuye, which was made available to the Nigerian Tribune, 'the visit, which is at the instance of the governors of Minas Gerais in Brazil, Maryland in USA and Manitoba in Canada,' added that the visit was to 'explore areas of cooperation with the affected states and to educate and inform foreign investors on the rich agricultural potentials of Ekiti State.'Afuye also stated that 'the governor will be accompanied during the visit by his wife, Mrs Bisi Fayemi; Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Chief Reims Bodurin and Commissioner for Integration and Inter-Governmental Affairs,' and he would 'leave the shores of Nigeria on October 2 for Brazil, where he is expected to attend a number of activities.'Fayemi will also hold interactive session with the business community and chambers of commerce with a view to drawing their attention to the rich agricultural potentials of the state.
