Eagles commence training today - Siasia

SUPER Eagles chief coach, Samson Siasia has stated that the national team would commence full train today as he expect majority of the players to report to camp on Monday ahead of Afcon qualifying match against Guinea.According to him the arrival of the players on Monday will be good for the team because 'we will have enough time to train together as a team before Saturday's game. At least we will be able to train within the time frame of 2pm which the match would hold to see how the players adapt' he said.'I expect a larger number of the players to arrive the camp (Monday). Most of them played for their clubs on Sunday and I'm sure by yesterday(Monday) they should be on their way down here.'The Nigerian coach believes that the arrival of players will give his side ample time to train together ahead of Saturday's game against Guinea.The 44-year-old Super Eagles' head coach also reiterated that the team's main focus is on the game against Guinea and not Ghana.'No the game against Guinea is important and comes first for us because we can't afford not to qualify for the Nations Cup,' rounded off the former Nigerian international.Siasia last month called up 22 players for the game against Guinea excluding goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.
