Expect goals from me -Mikel

CHELSEA midfielder, John Mikel Obi has promised the club's fans that he will soon be banging in goals.Mikel who has been playing the role of defending midfielder has just been pushed forward by new boss, Andre Villas-Boas as an attacking midfielder since inception of the season.The Nigerian International has been thrown into the thick of the action by Boas who hopes Mikel could make use of his height, forging forward to harrass opponent's defence and score goals.According to the club website, Mikel said ''that's the role that the manager wants me to play, to get in the box for set-pieces, and maybe that's one way that I will get my goal,''.Mikel has not scored for Chelsea since early 2007.Speaking further,the former Lyn star said, ''hopefully if I keep getting to balls in the box then I will, I might, nick a goal or two before the end of the season.
