Kwara Assembly mourns ex- Speaker

THE Speaker of Kwara State House of Assembly, Alhaji Abdulrasak Atunwa has bemoaned the death over the weekend of one of his predecessors, Ajaoo Gomih, who was at the helm of its affairs between 1992 and 1993.Gomih, who according to Atunwa, was a studious lawmaker, will be very difficult to replace in the political history of the 44-year old state.The deceased who had since been buried according to the Moslem rites, represented Owode-Onire Constituency of Asa Local Council of the state, from where he emerged as the Speaker.
