NFF plans friendlies for U-23 Eagles

THE Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is not ready to take chances as far as the country's quest to book a place in next year's London 2012 Olympics is concernedThe Nigerian team will participate in an eight nations qualifying tourney billed for Egypt in November where the continent's three automatic representatves will emerge.An official of the country's soccer governing body revealed that the federation would not toy with the chances of the team as it prepares for the tournament in Egypt."We are determined to see that our flag is hoisted in London and we are aware of the enormous task that is ahead, but we are focussed at ensuring that the ticket is secured.''The NFF offcial revealed that plans were at advanced stage to organise friendly matches for the team.''The team will likely engage Ecuador, Belarus and one other team before the commencement of the competition in Egypt in November.
