Badagry people appeal to government for infrastructural facilities

The traditional ruler of Pashi Vilagge in Badagry area of Lagos State, Chief Abraham Godonu Hunsu, has appealed to the state and local governments in the area to provide basic infrastructural facilities such as road network, electricity and pipe borne water for the thousands of inhabitants of the community.Residents of the Badagry community are also seeking the completion of the ultra modern town hall in the community, while also basking in the euphoria of the celebration of the one year of ascension to the throne by the traditional leader of the village .The traditional ruler , while speaking after the celebration of his one year in office and the official appeal fund launching of N50 million ultra -modern community hall for the village , described the lacck of basic infrastructure as the major problem of the residents of the village.He also expressed his appreciation to the traditional ruler of Kweme Kingdom in Badagry , Oba Olalekan Sejiro Ogungbe and the Alapa of Apa Egun Awori , Oba Oyekan Ajose for their support to the development of the townThe community leader appealed to the state government to extend its hands of good work and development to the people of Badagry, noting that the community cannot boast of a single tarred road and has been lacking lacking serious developmnt .In the words of the traditional ruler: " I am appealing to the government of Babatunde Raji Fashola to please come to the aid of our people and help us to construct effective road network for real development to take place in our community.Chief Hunsu also called on the state government to extend its rural electrification project to Pashi and save the thousands of its inhabitant from darkness and possibly create a way of fighting crime along the Lagos Badary axis.The traditional ruler described his one year as the Baale of the Badagry community as " challenging " and full of ups and down, " especially in a community , where the residents are denied of basic infrastructure .A resident of the community, George Yomi informed the Community News that the local government in the village haD not made its impacts felt by the people of Pashi village and appealed to the local government chairman to provide the community with a functional bore hole." We are close to the local government and they are not doing anything for us despite the fact that we have continued to show supports for their government," George lamented
