Infrastructural development: Adenuga donates N150m to UNN

THE chairman of theMike AdenugaGroup, Dr Mike Adenuga Jnr, has presen-ted a cheque of N150 million to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) for the infrastructural develop-ment of the institution.At a special ceremony held in Nsukka, on Tues-day, Dr Adenuga said the donation was a gesture of goodwill to the citadel of learning.Dr Adenuga said the group made the donation, in order to boost the capacity of the university to develop graduates that could compete favourably with their peers anywhere in the world.Mr Felix Akintola, who led the delegation that presented the cheque to the university authorities, informed the vice chance-llor of the institution about the completion of Globa-com's model outlet, the Gloworld, the Conoil mega petrol station and the Equitorial Trust Bank (ETB) branch in the university community for prompt telecommunica-tions, banking and trans-portation solutions, ease of transactions and improved quality of life.In his response, the vice chancellor, Professor Bartho N. Okolo, said the entire university community 'is excited and grateful to Globacom for this incredible gift.
