Man kills daughter in error

A RESIDENT of North-Bank Area of Makurdi, the Benue State capital, James Igoche, is now in the police custody for allegedly killing his daughter.The Police Public Relations Officer, Alaribe Ejike, said Igoche had a quarrel with his son and brought out his locally made gun to kill him but mistakenly shot his daughter.Ejike said the police had commenced investigation to unravel the reason for the action while the body of the deceased had been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre, mortuary, Makurdi.He advised children to always obey their parents and pleaded with parents to be cautious when dealing with their children.
