Oke-Aresa people seek govt's attention

Residents of Oke-Aresa Community,Iragbiji in Boripe Local Government area of Osun State have admonished the state government to come to their aid as regards the deplorable condition of some roads in the community.The Baale of the Community, Chief Isiaka Olayiwola Afolabi while speaking with Community News on behalf of the residents recently condemned all the roads linking the community with the main town.His words, 'We want the government to assist us in this community, all the roads are impassable, they are not good, though, we are aware that we are in the rainy season as nothing could be done now until the dry season, but we appeal to the government to remember us too during this period as rehabilitation and construction exercise commence fully'.Afolabi, who described Oke-Aresa community as one of the largest community in Iragbiji noted that the area was known for peace and friends of every government in power.The Community leader however commended the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) led administration in the state for their people oriented programmes and demonstration of peace and tranquility among the citizenry.
