Alimosho NURTW commends chairman

Members ofAlimoshoBranch 'A' of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) have commended the leadership qualities of their branch chairman, Comrade Olusope Bodude, describing him as a selfless leader who is always ready to do anything to improve the welfare of the members.This was contained in a commendation letter presented by the Chairman of Building Committee, Comrade Saubana Olayiwola to Comrade Bodude in his office in Iyana Ipaja.The Chairman of Building Committee led six other members of the committee to say 'Thank you to Sope'. He said the idea of procuring and distributing plots of land to members free-of charge was a morale booster among members, as members now have hope and aspirations of having their own house. 'We thank you very much for the gesture and for always thinking of how to better the lots of your members. We shall forever remains grate to you for making our dreams come true.'Responding, Comrade Sope Bodude thanked the member for showing appreciation. He told them that the building project was just one out of many goodies and the plans he has in mind for members of the branch.He also commended the members of the committee for dedication, informing them that they must ensure that all the allottees develop their plots to tally with the plans.He also enjoined them to make sure that the January date for the inauguration of the building is met.'We are here to serve our people. This is a responsibility and one must be ready to do it or quit the job.'He implored members to always cooperate with the leadership for peace to reign in the council.'We can only perform our duty if there is peace. We are ready to maintain peace in the council,' he said.
