Soe Properties' real estate fair opens tomorrow

THE sixth edition of the Nigerian Real Estate Fair will open tomorrow at the Expo Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos.The fair promoted by Soe Properties Limited is aimed at creating a platform for business opportunities both at the local and international housing industry. It has been endorsed the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), in conjunction with the Federal Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development.Essentially, the three-day event will be holding at Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos, to bring together experts in the real estate sector to brainstorm on how the elusive dream of housing delivery for the generality of the citizens could be achieved.Besides, the fair is also to serve as a platform for business opportunities in the country and outside. This would in turn enable the expansion of business frontiers through showcasing the various areas of individual uniqueness in diverse components in housing sector.According to the Managing Director, Soe Properties, Mr. Olisa Ebigwei, while much has been said about how to improve housing delivery in Nigeria, not much has being achieved that could have signals a brighter hope.'It is important for the policy makers to critically look into some areas where attention is needed, especially, policy on land matters, documentations, funding and availability of raw materials from local contents.
