Eagles dashed sport lovers hopes -Ibrahim

THE Managing Director of Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Alhaji Umar Ibrahim, has said the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the Nation Cup because of poor calculation, saying the Eagle has disappointed the football loving by their poor performance.Making the assertion on Sunday in Kano, at sponsored Kano state under 18 Senior Secondary Schools' Volleyball championship, Alhaji Ibrahim said the Super Eagle by their poor outing has again dashed hope of the lover of football in the country.He however disclosed that it was on record that since 2003 , the Corporation has been actively involved in the development of education in Nigeria through sponsorship of educated 'assisted projects in federal and states universities as well as other tertiary institution in the six geo-political zones of the country.
