Three killed in Borno

SOLDIERS on stop-and-search operations Thursday evening killed a motorcyclist at Gomari area of Maiduguri while some gunmen equally killed one Malam Dahiru of Madiganari area of the city after shooting a policeman at London Ciki, another suburb in the metropolis. Spokesman of the 21 Armoured Brigade, Lieutenant Danbeki said the army operatives shot the motorcyclist when he allegedly zoomed away after they directed him to stop for checking ordered. We have started investigating the matter and we would brief the newsmen when we are through, Danbeki said.
