Owumi, Jalla, Mgbolu blast NFF

FOOTBALL administrators in the country have continued to pour out their hearts over the failure of the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.Ex-Rangers International FC of Enugu chieftain, Davidson Owumi, former spokesman of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) and President of the National Association of Nigerian Footballers (NANF), Harrison Jalla all blamed administratives lapses for the development.Speaking in separate interviews hours after the Eagles were held to a 2-2 draw by Syli National of Guinea which denied Nigeria a ticket to the Equitorial Guinea and Gabon, the duo heaped the blame of the country's ouster on the board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).Owumi, who until recently was the chairman of the Nigeria Premier League said poor administration on the part of the football governing body contributed largely to the failure of the Eagles.Also speaking in the same manner, Mgbolu explained that things would have been different if football adminstration had been well managed.Jalla, in his own comments, called for seriousness on the part of the NFF, adding that people who know what it takes to administer football should be allowed to take charge just as he declared that Samson Siasia has failed the country.
