Enyimba Out To Appease Nations Cup Miss

ENYIMBA head coach, Okey Emordi has promised to repay Nigerians with a win over Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco today following the Super Eagles' failure to win a spot at next year's Africa Nations Cup.Enyimba beaten 0-1 last month in Casablanca by the North African side will attempt to get a two-goal win of any kind in order to progress to the final of the continent's elite club competition which they won back-to-back in 2003 and 2004.Besides, the Nigerian champions have suffered three league defeats in a row, and Emordi insisted that they would shake off the series of defeats with an emphatic win over WAC today in Aba.'We will try our best to win on Sunday (today). No one goes to war to lose, our aspiration is to achieve successes.'Now that we have lost everything in the local scene, our target is to win against Wydad. We are working very hard on the loopholes that made us lose to them in Morocco.'We hope at the end all the efforts will be translated into victory. We need it most right now the nation is enveloped in tears. So we hope to wipe away the nation's tears with a win,' he said.
