South-West, North-East will support Jonathan in 2015 'TAN Coordinator

THE Bayelsa Coordinator of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), Hon. Talford Ongolo, on Saturday, said the people of the South-West and North-East geopolitical zones have resolved to give their total support for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 based on the performance and positive development policies of the present administration.According to Ongolo, the support by the South-West and North-East was contained in the over 3.5million signatures gathered during the recent mega rallies organised by TAN in the regions.The former Speaker of the old Rivers State, while speaking in Kaiama community in Kolokuma/Opokuma during a rally organised by a group known as Restoration Forum, said in spite of the open support given by the South-West and North-East region, there was the need for the people of the South-South to unite and support the re-election of Jonathan in 2015.Earlier in his speech, the Principal Executive Secretary to Governor Seriake Dickson, Hon. Douye Diri, explained that the rally by the people and elders of the Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government council of the state was based on the conviction that President Jonathan must be prevailed upon to declare his intention as 'he has improved every sector of the country.'Douye Diri, who was supported at the event by notable leaders of the council including the State Commissioner for Sports, Hon.Ebikitin Diongoli; former member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Boulous Indiamawei; the Director General of the State Arts Council, Mr. Ineye Dudafa, also used the opportunity to announce the decision of the political leaders and traditional rulers of the Council to adopt the State Governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson for second term in office.
