Egbuchunam eyes national team call up

FOR 23 year-old Tonna Egbuchunam, putting on the green and white colours of Nigeria will be a dream come true having featured prominently in his college team in United Kingdom (UK).Egbuchunam, who is at present in Bucharest for a trial with a top Romania club side told The Guardian that he would be willing to wear the colours of his fatherland.'I am just excited opportune to play from somewhere and I'm anxious to start and see what will happen. I cannot predict what will happen but it going to be a learning experience because this is my first time and I will to take all what I can gather from that and go on with it. Although, I had couple of scouts that have come to watch me playing when I was going to an American school in UK,' he said.Egbuchunam, who holds a 3.78 GPA in Economics from Iona College and was a member of the 2007 MAAC All-Academic Team added: 'Aside this, playing for Nigeria has always been my dream. I also want to play professionally and this has been my dream when I was small.
