Obafemi scores in Sounders win

The Seattle Sounders stretched their lead at the top of the MLS Western Conference to four points after beating Real Salt Lake 3-2 with a last-gasp goal from Andy Rose.Javier Morales gave Real a 1-0 lead on the half-hour mark before Lamar Neagle made it 1-1 eight minutes later. The Sounders then took a 2-1 lead when Obafemi Martins found the back of the net two minutes before the interval but the game was all square again when Joao Plata scored five minutes after the restart.But the Sounders were not to be denied and substitute Rose scored a winner for Seattle in the fourth minute of injury time.Meanwhile, Sporting Kansas City hit four past Chivas USA to keep the pressure on DC United at the top of the Eastern Conference. Dom Dwyer gave Sporting the lead in the 39th minute and they went into the break two goals to the good when Benny Feilhaber scored in time added on.Graham Zusi made it three seven minutes after the restart and substitute Claudio Bieler made it 4-0 with three minutes of normal time remaining. The win means second-placed Sporting now trail DC United by two points in the Eastern Conference, although they have played a game more.
