Fidelity Bank launches Eduportal for management of schools

Fidelity Bank Plc has introduced Eduportal, a high technology solution that makes the task of running schools easier and more efficient.The solution, which has been tested and already in use in some schools across the country, is a path-making product which integrates key multi-card payment systems including VISA, Interswitch, e-Tranzact and MasterCard to deliver efficient and reliable solution to the operators of the educational sector.Offering insight on the product, the Head of Consumer Banking, Mr. Kenneth Opara, described Eduportal as an online platform that offers a comprehensive technology-based solution to school management.According to him, Fidelity Eduportal enhances administrative efficiency by cutting down cost while increasing productive output.'Fidelity Eduportal was designed with the entire academic community in mind', Mr. Opara observed, pointing out that 'it provides a seamless interactive learning environment, creating a smooth and reliable interface between students and staff and the general public.'Among other things, Eduportal handles the automation and processing of student and staff data, online application, admission and registration, transcript processing, online payment of tuition and other fees, document sharing, e-learning, checking of results etc.Mr. Opara pointed out that implementation and deployment of Fidelity Eduportal solution is at no cost to the schools, and emphasized the bank's expertise that would be made available once a prospective school is signed on.
