ROBBERS, in Kaduna, lured a bureau de change operator, Abdullahi Ibrahim, 35, to an hotel, where they killed him and took his money.The state police command, on Sunday, however, said it had launched a manhunt for the killers.Aminu Lawan, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), said the command had commenced investigation into the killing.According to him, information available to the police indicated that the deceased went to a hotel with a polythene bag and requested to see a guest.'The guest was later joined by another two persons, but the three of them left one after the other, leaving the deceased in the hotel room.'Because it was not time to check out, the receptionist did not bother to question them. However, out of curiosity, he had to check the room when the deceased did not come out, even after the check-out time had passed.'The receptionist had to force the door open to see the deceased lying lifeless in the pool of his blood, before our attention was called,' Lawan said.He said the deceased was taken to a hospital where he was confirmed dead, following several stabs on his chest.The police said preliminary investigation into the matter had commenced, adding that manhunt for the killers had already begun.
