Ile-Oluji development forum holds October 29

In order to facilitate the socio-economic development of Ile-Oluji, headquarters of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, the 2011 Ile-Oluji Development Forum (IDF) has been scheduled for Saturday, 29 October, 2011, at Jesus Arena Hall, Ile-Oluji.The theme of the 2011 Forum is 'Economic empowerment as a tool of community development'. The lead presentation will be made by Chief Akinsola Akinfemiwa, Aro of Ile-Oluji and Chairman, Genesis Electricity. Professor Bola Akinterinwa, Director General, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), will deliver a talk on the 'Development imperatives for Ile-Oluji in the 21st Century'. This will be followed by various practical group discussion sessions.Other eminent Ile-Oluji indigenes expected at the event include Eng. Samuel Adegboyega, Pastor Wole Oladiyun (Senior Pastor, CLAM); Otunba Nicholas Tofowomo (Ondo State Commissioner for Transport); Hon. Mayor Adeoba (Member, House of Representatives); Mr. Wale Akinterinwa (Former Ondo State Commissioner for Finance); Mrs. Yetunde Dada (Chairperson, Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government), Mrs. Monisola Faloye, Manager, Ile-Oluji Micro Finance Bank, among others.According to Mr. Ademola Akinbola, one of the conveners of the event, Ile-Oluji Development Forum is a non-political platform for facilitating the socio-economic development of Ile-Oluji.The event will also feature the launching of the 3rd edition of Who's Who in Ile-Oluji and the unveiling of Ile-Oluji Times, Ile-Oluji's first community newspaper, both published by Mr. Ademola Akinbola.
