Jalingo LG boss pleads for support

NEWLY appointed caretaker chairman of Jalingo Local Govern-ment Area of Taraba State, Honourable Hassan Bappa has solicited the co-operation and support of the entire staff of the council to enable him to tackle the challenges ahead of him.Bappa who made the plea while taking over the mantle of leadership of the council said the task before him was enormous and that he will need prayers and support of all and sundry to succeed.According to him, Jalingo Local Government was among few councils that had been experiencing problems such as over-staffing and salary arrears, pointing out that with determination he will over come all obstacles.The caretaker chairman who promised to operate an open door policy, noted that he will also appreciate constructive peace of advice aimed at moving the council forward.He also noted with concern the present hardship faced by the people in the area, promising to inject new prospect.Hon. Bappa who commended the efforts of his predecessor in the council, further promised to address issues a effecting the development of the council for better.He thanked the entire council staff for the warm reception according him when taking over the mantle of leadership and solicited them to keep the tempo instrument.
