Firm donates to school

A firm, Universal Anchor Ltd, has donated writing materials to the Etiosa Senior Secondary School in Sangotedo.Its Founder/Chief Executive Officer Mr Sesan Awonoiki said it was part of the firms support to the education sector.Addressing the pupils, he said: Without education, it would have been impossible for me to stand before you. I used to walk several miles from Onipanu to Igbobi College in Yaba just to attend school.Today, you have seen for yourself that those sacrifices paid off. Study hard, shun violence and crime and other vices and you would realise the bright future that awaits you through education.The firm, which specialises in business consulting, corporate training and recruitment, donated the items with the approval of the Lagos State Education District III.Read Also:Group donates items to motherless babies homeThe items include exercise books, whiteboards and cleaning/writing materials.The firms CSR Project Manager, Oghosa Ekhator, urged other corporate organisations to support education.If every organisation and privileged individuals could rise in a united front to contribute to the development of education, this country will be better for it, she said.The schools Principal Mrs. S.A Ishola, praised the firm for the gesture.
