Chukwu upbeat as Falcons depart for Cameroun

FORMER Super Eagles coach, Christian Chukwu is optimistic the country's female side, the Super Falcons can pick the ticket to the London 2012 Olympics at the expence of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroun.The Nigerian contingent made up of 20 players and their officials are billed to leave the shores of the country today for Yaounde venue of Saturday's all important final qualifying tie .Chukwu who was seconded to the team to give the technical crew a helping hand said with what he saw of the ladies during preparation for the match, they were ready for the kill against the Camerounians who need just a 1-0 win to qualify having lost the first leg 1-2 in Abuja."I believe these girls have what it takes to beat the Lionesses on Saturday. Based on their form in training and their determination to go all the way for victory, I am assured that they will return to Nigeria with the ticket."Team's head coach, Uche Eucharia also expressed optimism that the team will wipe the memory of the failure of the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations by beating the Camerounians to the Olympic ticket cme Saturday.
