God says Jonathan ll win election -Prophet Mustapha

Published by Tribune on Mon, 21 Mar 2011

THE joy of every good leader is to leave a lasting and beffiting legacy for his subjects. This and many more benefits of democracy are, no doubt, the desire of Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, President of the Republic Of Nigeria, for Nigerians and foreigners living within the nations border alike amidst a peaceful and fruitful reign.Contrary to his expectations, however, a man of God, Prophet Solomon Moses Oni Mustapha, has warned that the President should earnestly seek the face of God so that the nation will not break up during his rule as president.Prophet Mustapha, who presides over the Seed of Christ Golden Church, Gbaremu-Idi Obi, Airport area of Ibadan, Oyo State, said God     actually  told him that President Jonathan would scale through and win the forthcoming elections to become the substantive elected president of the nation, adding however, that the president needs to fast and pray for seven days, begining as soon as he sees this publication. The Prophet, an indigene of Isanlu in Kogi State, said the seven days prayer and fasting by Mr President was to avert series of crises which could culminate into the nations break up.Prophet Mustapha, who spoke with our reporter during a visit to the Tribune House recently, said what would happen prior to and during the election would be mild when compared with post election events. He, therefore, enjoined all Nigerians, to observe the 1st, 2nd and 3rd days of December 2011 as days of fasting and serious prayer for Nigeria.According to him, the fasting and prayer is to ward off the crisis which would rear its ugly head in 2012.Likewise, the Prophet admonished all South West governors to pray very well concerning the aftermath of the 2011 elections, so that the covenant for some peoples lives would not be broken. He, however, singled out Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala of Oyo State, even as he urged the Governor to seek the face of God. Prophet Mustapha claimed that there was a covenant between the Governor and God that he would rule for a second term, adding however, that the Governor has broken the covenant.Popularly known as Baba Se Bi Oba, the Prophet also urged the leaders and people of Lagos, Osun and Kogi to be very prayerful as the elections would be tough in those states, adding that the powerful aspirants who some people thought would be victorious in the elections might not win afterall.Born in 1969 to Mr  Samuel and Mrs Esther Mustapha, both farmers based in Isanlu, Kogi State, Prophet Mustapha, who attended Kaduna Division (KD) Primary School, Isanlu after which he learnt a printing job, said his ministerial appointment was prophesied. His words: Although my parents were not Christians when I was born but my mother told me that when she was carrying my pregnancy, she was told that the child in her was a male and that he would be a great prophet.Baba Se Bi Oba, who said he had prophesies concerning his call, right from his primary school days, claimed to have been seeing visions and hearing from God since  he was eight years old. The man of God who had attended Christ Apostolic Church and the Cherubim and Seraphim Church received the call into full time ministry in 2002. He left Ekiti State where he was residing for Ibadan to heed Gods call in 2003 and started his church in 2004.He had wanted to call his church, a penticostal gathering,  the Holy Trinity Evangelical Church but he said that God told him to name it Seed of Christ Golden Church.Going down memory lane, Prophet Mustapha recollected that the first miracle the Lord wrought through him was in 1988 at Oke-Orin in Ikole Ekiti where he had prayed for an Urhobo woman who was bed ridden and she got up and walked immediately.
