Women group partners MTN on subsidised breast cancer screening

A NETWORK of over 100 women, WOW D.I.V.A.S is partnering with mobile telecom giant MTN Nigeria, to provide subsidised breast cancer mammogram screening for 'higher risk' women in the country.The initiative was to bring succour to the teaming number of women with the risk of breast cancer, who are also not rich to afford the cost of a mammogram screening.At the Wow D.I.V.A.S straight talk seminar to raise awareness on breast cancer, Publicity Secretary for the group, Rita Okoye said that the extra value proposition the Wow D.I.V.A.S would get on the MTN platform is offered by the Deux Projects.She noted that referrals from Wow D.I.V.A.S would receive preferential treatment at the MTN screening centers. 'The individuals will be contacted and scheduled for the screen to suit their convenience and location. They will also receive prompt service and will receive their reports same day among others.
