Managing the economy

Once again, attention has been drawn to the vulnerability of the Nigerian economy in response to happenings in the global economy. At a recent international tax conference organized by the Joint Tax Board in Abuja, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, expressed concern that with the current price volatility in the international oil market, the nations main revenue earner, the economy is seriously threatened.
