Taye Taiwo delighted with Milan experience

TAYE Taiwo is happy with the role he played for AC Milan in a 2-0 victory over BATE Borisov in Wednesday night's UEFA Champions League.Taiwo not only made only his second start for Milan in the game, but also lasted 90 minutes ' and the Nigerian left-back is celebrating.'I'm happy to have played a big game and to have been able to help the team. I'm also happy because I've been able to show what I can do on the field,' Taiwo said.The left-back, who joined Milan from Olympique Marseille in the summer, has seen his opportunities severely restricted by the form of Luca Antonini, but he says his self belief is growing."I'm getting more and more faith in my abilities in training and during the games; I think you can see that when I play,' he told Milan Channel.'The League is very difficult. I've been watching lots of DVDs to learn what I can."In the Champions League the play is different. I know it a bit better than I know Serie A because I have some experience in playing there,' the former Marseille player added. "I think Milan is a team that can compete anywhere with anyone.
