Arungbo community wants new transformer

Residents of Arungbo Community, Osogbo, Osun State, have enjoined the state government to give the area a 10KV Transformer that would reduce the burden of erratic power supply by the PHCN.The Asoju-Oba of the Community, Dr .Adewole Oladepo Adetoro, while speaking with Community News recently at his Palace said, residents of the community were seriously in need of another transformer that would ensure regular power supply."If there is light everywhere, people of the underworld will not come to the area for their evils act."Chief Adetoro who explained that, the community was one of the largest in Osogbo metropolis, lamented the deplorable condition of some roads across the area. "All roads in the community are not passable, we are paying our taxes and other dues to the purse of the government, but government is maltreating us in this community," he said.
