Iponda tasks Osun gov on road repair

Residents of Iponda community in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State have called on the state government to rise up to the task of repairing the road linking Iponda and Idominasi with Ibokun.While speaking with Community News recently on behalf of the residents, the Oniponda of Iponda, Oba Abel Adediran Omoseebi, JP, said the road has become a death trap for motorists and other road users who now fear to travel on it.According to the community leader, the road is in poor state needing urgent rehabilitation.Oba Omoseebi who commended the state governor, Mr.Rauf Aregbesola for the upliftment of education at all level in the state and for building model schools for the pupils, enjoined the governor to take care of the dilapidated schools buildings in the ancient community.The Oniponda who also commended the authority of the State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB) under the leadership of the Executive Secretary, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole, for training and re-training of teachers in the state and admonished the SUBEB not to relent in its bid to advance educational development.The community leader further assured the government of their unflinching support to the government at all times.
