Opebi rotary club installs new president

Members of Opebi Rotary Club recently, at Ikeja Airport Hotel, installed the club's 29th President, Rotarian Olusina Adedoja Ogunrinde.In a valedictory speech made by the outgoing acting President , Mr Eugene Osigwe, he said that he was able to complete the construction of a science laboratory centre started by the club reigning President for year 2010 to 2011, late Elizabeth Ita Ny who died in office,The highlight of the event was the installation of the club's new president, Mr. Ogunrinde, the award of distinguished service award to three women, namely the Chairman, Isolo Local Council Development area for her many achievement in improving the lives of people living in Isolo community. The other awardees were Monisola Victoria Toyin Paul, Managing Director, Prime Royal Product Limited; and Ms Ify Rita Ejezie, Managing Director, Cashville Investment and Securities Limited for their Financial support toward the improvement of lives in Nigeria.The newly installed President, Mr Olusina Ogunrinde said that his target for the year 2011 to 2012 will be to rise N6 million from corporate organisations, club members and well endowed individuals in the society to finance the following projects. One, to construct a water and sanitary system at Opebi Grammer School for the cost N1 million, donation to three orphanage homes with N200,000 going to each of them, N1 million will be used to help government fight Polio, 2 million to help the poor and needy to establish small scale business through Micro financing and lot more.In a Valedictory Director, Prime Royal Product Limited and Ms Ify Rita Ejezie, Managing Director, Cashville Investment and Securities Limited for their Financial support toward the improvement of lives in Nigeria.
