FG plans seminar on FOI Act

THE Federal Government is planning an all-inclusive stakeholders' seminar in preparation for the take-offand implementation of the Freedom of Information (FoI) Act.Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, who dropped this hint at a meeting with the House of Representatives' Committee on Reform of Government's Institutions declared that the FoI Act was at the centre of President Goodluck Jonathan's transformation agenda.According to Anyim, the FoI Act implementation seminar, which would hold next month, would afford stakeholders the opportunity of brainstorming on the best measures to be takento guarantee the successful implementation of the Act.
