Traditional ruler calls for unity

THE newly installed traditional ruler of Odeda Community, headquarters of Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba David Ishola Olorunnishola, has called on his subjects both home and abroad to join him in moving the town forward.Speaking with Community News during his corronation ceremony recently, Oba Olorunnishola said the people of the community needed to come together as one entity so as to bring progress and development into the community.According to him, we need a lot of development projects in our community.  Despite the fact that Odeda is the headquarters of Odeda Local Government still, we lack many things.We dont have good roads. Most of our roads are not tarred, those that were once tarred are no longer in good condition.Our community also deserves a higher institution.  Some of my people still go to the stream before they could get drinking water.It is high time  the state and local governments found a lasting solution to the problem of potable water that we are facing.Oba Olorunnishola also thanked the Ogun State governor, Chief Gbenga Daniel, for upgrading about 39 Baales across the state to the position of king and the development he brought to Odeda park.
