Bauchi Environmental Court issues bench warrants on 15 defaulters

A Bauchi State Environmental Sanitation Court has issued bench warrants for the arrest of 15  residents of Bauchi metropolis for disobeying its orders.The Magistrate, Mr Garba Sambo, issued the warrants for the arrest of the defaulters in Bauchi on Friday while hearing more than 28 cases pending before the court.Sambo said that the defaulters had refused to honour the summons served on them to appear before the court.He said that those served with the warrants were Alhaji Yahaya Yusuf, Ayuba Abubakar, Danladi  Baba, Bala Mohammed all of Winti-Dada and Timothy Jeremiah of Kagadama.Others were Bilya Dansanda, Sani Danladi Simon Kurshiro, Ladan Abubakar and Dalhatu Mohammed of Bayara, Yelwa Tudu, Kagadama, Bayara and Mallam Goje .Keneth Alhassan, Tudun Yelwa; Suleiman Bayero, Angwa Tandu, Ibrahim Bello, Mallam Goje and Hashiru Ladan of Yantandu wards were also served with the order.The magistrate rescheduled 14 cases pending before the court and adjourned to March 24, for continuation of hearing.
