Ngilari: A virtual view

As a way of resolving the Adamawa conundrum Barrister Bala Ngilari was sworn in as governor of the state two days ago. The constitutional lawyer and former deputy governor had challenged his party men for getting him to sign off his constitutional chance at governorship under no duress. He was under no obligation to do what he did. But he did it. He had a chance to rethink his decision since the letter had come back to him for correction. Yet he didn't. So technically Ngilari assumed a membership of the opposition in a state where his party held sway because of his inability to speak up.
