I'm ready for Eagles' job -Oliseh

FORMER Nigerian International, Sunday Oliseh has declared his intention to manage Nigeria's national team, Super Eagles after the country failed to qualify for next year's Africa Cup of Nations.Former Borussia Dortmund player disclosed yesterday morning through his social network site, Facebook that a lot of things have been going wrong in the Super Eagles and it is high time for proper hands to handle it and he was the best man to do it.The 1996 Olympic gold medalist winner said "After lots of thoughts and thousands of e mail requests by fans and well wishers, I have decided to make myself available to Coach the Super Eagles of Nigeria back to greater heights."I just came back to Nigeria last week, and the pain my people are feeling has moved me so much to take up their requests.Oliseh who is mostly remembered for scoring the winning goal in the group stage match against Spain in the 1998 World Cup, as Nigeria prevailed 3-2 stated that "Being the most qualified coach my country can offer, it is useless if i do not put it into the country's service especially now that we are in dire need of a coach and I'm making this known to The NFF as we "speak".He said the national team has been handle by inexperience coaches in the past and is now high time to put thing in other.2002 African Cup of Nations captain disclosed that "We have given the national team in the past to so called "experienced" unqualified coaches to manage, and look at where it has gotten us. Modern football is more complicated and demanding than some of us seem to realise."Guardiola's First coaching Job is that of Barcelona. In three years he has won every world title available. Saying qualification is not important, is like saying going to the University to learn is useless.I am just back from Nigeria and everyone urged me to get on board.just one thought: How was the national team before '93 and after 2002'" Former Juventus star ask.
