CSR: Enterprise Bank partners MoneyGram on school aids

Enterprises Bank Limited and MoneyGram International Money Transfer have entered into a partnership with a view to improving the lot of pupils in primary schools considered to be in need of aids.Under this arrangement, the bank said on Friday that it had recently donated 1,000 exercise books to pupils of Payne Primary School in Benin, Edo State as part of activities to support the development of education in the country.A statement by the bank on Friday said the presentation, which was done in conjunction with MoneyGram, under the MoneyGram-Agente Back-To-School programme initiative, put smiles on the faces of both teachers and pupils of the school.Making the presentation on behalf of the sponsors the banks branch Manager, Mr. Godswill Esangbedo, who represented the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Mr. Ahmed Kuru, said the gesture was a way of giving back to members of the society, who embraced Enterprise Bank as the bank of choice for receiving money from their loved ones and business associates from countries across the globe.He said, The 1,000 books we have shared today in Benin City is a sign of many more good things that our customers will continue to benefit as long as they continue to make use of the services of MoneyGram services at Enterprise Bank.
