On Udenwa's book

Chris Uwadoka, Plot 66, Ajayi Crowther Street, Asokoro, Abuja, chrisuwadoka@hotmail.com, +23480381274: I started reading the former Governor of Imo State, Chief Achike Udenwas recent book, The Nigeria/Biafra Civil War - My Experience on my way to Abuja airport the morning after its public presentation and finished it at the immigration queue into Abidjan that same evening. It is, as the clich goes, "unputdownable". His account of the war is very original and the extent of recall is amazing. I, however ,had a purpose in eagerly devouring the book from my former governor who, though an only child of his mother, volunteered into the Biafran Army and served as an intelligence officer. In the book, I was looking to isolate some personality traits responsible for his unusual survival and success in life. All I could isolate from his accounts in the book is that his string of miraculous survival and success is attributable to God and his own flow with his chi.
